http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...10613140025184. I have not yet seen a comparable Vista-related write up. But, I think that things must work pretty much the same way in Vista. Note that a major point is that available RAM is not much of a concern with OS X, and my take is that things are the same way in Vista. Read the whole thing as the best part comes later. The read discusses, in an OS X context, some of the things felix mentioned above.
