No Problems With My USB Keyboard! But USB Mouse Problems!

Not an OS available I haven't used! And I own 4 different computers with an average of four OS installs each! I've just been using Both the 64bit Vista and the 32bit version for alittle over three weeks. And the 64bit version needs some real help before they release it. Vista 32 is cruzing along except for burping at Flash pages and some minor software install issues. A4Tech 750 2500dpi Game mouse profile setup won't run on either install.

I used to have problems with USB mice and keyboards with Linux on a regular basis, especially on certain computer setups with certain buggy Motherboards (Albatron K8x800 Pro II) and older USB keyboards. When going into safe mode or in linux boot sequence, bam same thing happened to me. So your problem could be either the "Keyboard" your using or posibly you could flash the bios of your motherboard and fix the problem. Make sure you have USB mouse and keyboard enabled in your MB bios. That Albatron has been a nightmare and those Tawanese don't bother maintaining the VIA chipset drivers. It loses it's setting all the time. Plus I used to overclock it, but now I don't, been losing too many corrupted files when it crashes then.

Chances are though, that if you use a different USB keyboard it will work! Or you can do what I do (hehe) keep one of each type connected! As I said I haven't heard of anyone's dropping connection or not installing in Safe Mode with Vista.
