I hardly have any problems with Vista, i would defiantly say Vista is a lot more reliable than XP. The graphic card base UI is miles more reliable and presentable, The explorer has massive improvements since XP and can handle more apps at one time. But at the end of the day it all depends on what machine you are running on. If you are getting lots of explorer.exe has stooped working and this program is not responding errors it COULD be your using low end hardware and its using all your recourses causing stuff to not respond in time.
