Some updates require you to reboot to finish the install..(failure to reboot) means more chance to have problems than not...
You can set to receive upgrades and pick the one(s) you want... and Front Page 2003 is Vista - OK. I use it all the time...
RTM means the same as "Released to Manufacture". It should also have the indicator of Retail..if you check your license.. and the license tells the difference between "Retail" & "OEM"..OEM is OEM whether you bought Pre-installed or ?from TigerDirect, EggHead, or whom ever...and Upgrade is Upgrade no matter..
Not saying your using illegal, but some versions that were allowed to be downloaded (had Malware, Spyware & other not needed) were not quite genuine "RTM" but close..Real RTM, OEM or Retail had BlueTooth included..plus a couple of other items... Technet and MSDN were about as close as you can find...and MSDN was different slightly than my "RETAIL" and my "Upgrade".
