I am having the same problem with Rundll32.exe stopping, but it is not being caused by Nero. I don't even have Nero on this machine. The error was appearing straight out of the box. I launch Windows Explorer and navigate to my videos folders. The error appears as the thumbnails are being generated. In folders where I have multiple videos, I will get an equal amount of errors. If I do not close the error message as they appear, I could have 20 or 30 errors on my screen at once!
This does not happen while generating thumbnails for picture files, nor when the folder view is set to 'details' or 'list' views.
The thumbnails for .mpg files do still appear and the video files work fine despite the error messages.
On a similar note, .avi files do not generate thumbnails at all. They only show the default windows video file icon w/ AVI at the bottom. These files also work fine when launched.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
