Great info. My guess is that you installed 64 bit version. My version is the 32 bit. So, we, natually, would expect different incompatibilities, I guess. I haven't used IE7 much, but I have tried it without problems. I like it fine, but am sticking with Firefox for now. I need to do something about AV protection, and I will try Avast--if I ever get my staying-online-with-my-Vista-drive problem solved.
