thanks to all. My icon is already back.
I did all the procedures specified by the fellows forum members, and still nothing, but then I noticed that the after you right click the desktop and o to Personalize, it shows a small window that had the recicle bin check box OFF. Now, I didnīt change that originally to begin with of course, but now I rechecked it, and the icon reappeared and worked well. tHANK GUYS
