Mine was running fair with 512Mbyt on my AMD2500 though not as fast as XP, and a little jerky playing videos. I updated the 512 with 1Gbyt for a total of 1.5Gbyt, and it runs much smoother, and as fast as XP in most cases. It was well worth the upgrade.
