I believe the procedure shown is more than necessay as your drivers should be preinstalled. If you install any Vista (even the same one) with all drives already installed you will have a working multiboot menu... however the boot information will only be stored on your primary HD which can lead to issues if removed or formatted obviously.

Otherwise... it's all good
