Definitely don't try installing it again. IMO, you want to forget you every saw the disk; it probably is virus laden or or who knows what. As far as I know, at this time, there is no such thing as a purely "trial version" of Vista RTM. There is a simulated Vista on, as I recall, the Vista Business site. You can use a legitimate copy of Vista for a 30-day trial period, but that's a different thing. In this regard, I don't understand about trial use. Unless one subscribes to TechNet or is a member of MSDN, then you have to pay to get a legitimate version of Vista. I don't think that you can get your money back if you decide you don't like Vista. Maybe I am missing the current point of people using Vista on a trial basis unless they are bent on EULA breaking.
