OK, decided since VB was down for a while, and I want to test.. another CLEAN INSTALL, with different HD..
prior to this I activated with IDE HD, then changed that HD to read as SATA, and reactivated, NP.. last nite I removed the old BOOT DRIVE, (IDE=SATA=30GB.) and Installed a new 80G SATA2, WB 7200 RPM.. and activated for the 3td time... activation was simply adding the KEY via Welcome Center...change Key..PS: the FULL sata2 7200 WD HD only added .2 to my score .. HD now reads 2.7 the modified ATA 7200 modified to SATA at 2.5...
