It might, but I don't think it will. Registry cleaners delete entries that are corrupted or orphans, but not necessarily the entries that are just sitting there. If there are other files left behind by the setup, a registry cleaner will not delete the register key because it's actually attached to a file. That's why is important to use Windows Explore to delete everything related to a particular program before proceeding with a registry cleaner. Even then it's not a guarantee that you have deleted everything. Going directly to the registry and deleting the key(s) is more effective, but at the same there are risks. |
