As Snuffy said, run the Disk Cleanup utility to delete some of the files. Others may have to be deleted manually: Right click Start Button > Select Explorer > Go to Windows Folder > Double Click the Temp Folder
You can prevent cluttering your Temp file by creating a Desktop Folder. Give the folder a name, e.g. My Temp Files. Whenever you installed an application that provides and option on where to install the Temp Files, point the application to that folder. Once the application is installed, you can delete all Temp Files, including Setup files. This provides you better control than using the Windows Temp Folder.
Another option would be to create a Shortcut of the Temp Folder on your Desktop. |
