Lol, sorry I have never used those programs myself
I am at work so can't realy help too much atm, but I am sure there is a way to find out what programs are reading what.
It could be a vista feature (like defrag) that is caught in a perpetual loop, or has a schedule time when the PC is switched off so automaticallly starts when you switch it on etc.
There are so many thins it COULD be that the only real way you can fix it is to find out what it is.
