There are several ways to check prices.
1. most stores have a web site... look for specs there and compare prices.
2. There are several sites that deal in where to buy. "pricewatch" in the USA
3. Check newspapers for local sales.
4. In the USA the Sunday paper is loaded with upcoming weekly sales.
5. Partspc.com (USA) is pretty good also.
