OK, this problem seems to occur to more than one person.
I have Vista, I use 3 SATA drives, and I have never seen this safe to remove in reference to them.
please explain exactly and maybe I can help...
I only have internal SATA drives if that makes a difference... and if your using external SATA drives I'm positive that the plugins function the same as USB devices... that is what my Vista compatible mobo manual tells me.
Bios setting is RAID off.
