I think it's a combination of all of those factors. I know quite a few people who don't really care, and some who think that an antivirus is adequate even if it isn't updated, and then wonder why their computers are full of malware. From what I have read children's sites can be sources of malware too so if parents arent diligent in keeping the system updated with the latest protection the kids can unwittingly introduce malware into the computers. To me targeting kids is reprehensible, or using them as unwitting enablers. |
