There's a possibility that someone else is using the same product key you have. OEMs are supposed to be supported by the computer manufacture or builder. As far as I can see, the only thing you can do is to try to contact your seller.
As for going back to XP; if you have the XP disc that’s fine, but if you have to buy it, might as well a copy of Vista upgrade. It’ll cost you about the same as XP and you don’t have to worry about OEM issues. |
