The only thing that I know is left out is that when you do the discovery on the Vista machine in your network (in my case, a wireless network) the network itself (on the Vista machine) has to be set to "private" and not "public". Once I made that final change I was able to map the network sucessfully from my Vista notebook. (My wireless network is mixed, XP and Vista.)
