Unique BOOTMGR problem

I had to whipe a Vista Home install for work to use their system but when I tried to re-install Vista and it said "BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

I have put in my recovery DVD's from HP again, but it doesnt have a recovery option, just a Re-install one. All the turtorials I can find rely on a Vista recovery DVD. Note the recovery partition is gone.

1. How do I access this repair part of the DVD? Is it on the HP bundled disks?

2. If not how do I work around this. I'm not very technical.

I have 3 disks that came with the HP bundle. System recovery 1&2 and a Supplimetal Recovery.
