Buster is on a distinguished road

The answer is yes you can do just that from within the program you make a bootable disc, once the drive has been replaced boot from the disc Acronis program will be loaded it will then scan your drives for information if you keep the backup on drive D:/ you will then select the backup you want to restore and away you go you can also restore from DVD if its small enough I have not tried from blue ray yet but I will in the future this program is the best that I personally have ever found for me its never failed But I cant say it will not as all things do I always Validate and test a backup by restoring it so that I know I can really on it when I need them
at the moment I still have a version of XP Pro, and 32bit vista which I can restore whenever I want although I run 64bit alone now days as everything I have works with it

I made a 41GB backup last night of my C:/drive to blue ray disc it took 3hrs 16mins Validated this morning another 1.5hrs so I will wait until I am finished for the day and try a full restore from it Tonight If it works I will be able to remove all backups from the computer to blue ray disc freeing up a lot of space about 200Gb I will let you know what happens
