Problem solved.
Mulltiple email/IM contacts with Norton Support (India or wherever).
Told to uninstall Norton then install Norton. Did solve problem.
Unnecessary hassle though. It WAS Norton that caused the problem.
Anyway, I get a telephone call from India (or wherever) and they provide me with one more free month of Norton. Computer came with Norton for 18 months. |
