This is simply due to the fact that I know my system is virus free, so nothing can report back any of my details.
My connection is always on with a fixed IP and more than 1 PC connected to it at all times, so hackers scare me the most.
I only have 2 ports open in and out anyway (and you can guess what one of them is
). But those 2 ports are logged and monitored. Every week I sift through the log for any 'attempts'.
