You need to figure out which program turned off your firewall, if you didn't do it manually. It usually happens when one install a third party security suite like Norton or Trend Micro. Even when the software is removed, Vista's firewall remains off, but you'll get a notification, unless the "Don't notify me and don't display the icon" has been selected. |
