I know we discussed this issue on a previous thread many moons back. Some users of Vista buy their components in order to increase their index rating. Will a user stop buying components when his/her PC reaches a perfect score? What about if all the manufactures, or at least the main players, tweak their PCs to get a perfect rating for example, will users be willing to update their perfect score PC in the future? Will MS degrade your PC's index performance to compensate for newwer technology? |
