I am having one problem with the firewall and outgoing. It will block some programs trying to call home (generally providing notification), but not others. The most serious issue in this regard is that it only blocks one (the easiest to block) of the four leak tests I tried. So, I tried installing the wonderful Comodo free firewall again. This time I got it installed, but it did not work properly even in compatibility mode. This firewall is a super one, and, IMO, is easier to use than the Zone Alarm also free firewall. I can't believe that neither company yet has Vista-compatible firewalls. |
