Shave31, I don't think you'll have any issues running Vista. Your Intel 945g chipset should work fine as well; it would really surprise me if it didn't work. Download all Vista drivers that you can find for your PC and save them on a disk or on a separate partition. Use them only if Vista can't find one of the drivers. If you are running Win XP and have a large enough HD, I suggest you run Vista as dualboot with XP. You'll get 30-days to activate Vista, if something doesn't go as plan within those 30-days, you can proceed to a new Vista installation without worrying about your license.
