What kind of PC did you buy? A new PC shouldn't be giving you such problems, if it is, there's something really wrong and you should take it back to the store. It could be something simple, but you'll never know.

Since you already bought new RAM, try removing the RAM chip your PC came with and just use the one you purchased. If your PC runs faster, then you can deduct a RAM issue. Did you add any new components and if so, can you remove them?
