Welcome Sanjay. I think it's kind of cool that other tech forums are included in the group. The more access to knowledge the better I say. I'm glad to be back after a long absence. This has always been my favourite place to get tech answers quickly and with a friendly vibe.

Please post the PM's you send me in this thread and I will answer the questions openly and directly. It is silly to keep accusing me of all sorts of evil when I have actually done nothing since purchasing this forum except to change the logo. Forums need to be open to some change because they exist for a community and not just one or two people. I respect your opinions but that does not make them any more valid than anyone else's.

allen6368- i think your suggestion for me to mail all the members about the change is a good one. I usually don't just send emails out to members, but maybe this is a big enough announcement where they will understand.

As usual I am glad to answer questions here or in PM's, but I prefer out in the open.

Dear, Admin Sanjay
I am writing to inform you of a general displeasure among Vista Babble users and former users since your purchase of the site.
I realise it has now been a while since your takeover however I feel I should note a few things to you as the owner. In your opening post to the site you stated “I love the community and helpfulness. Vista Babble is now part of a 20+ forum network called CrowdGather and I am happy to answer any of your questions” many users (or since your takeover former users) including myself (whom is still a semi-active user) feel this statement has not been fulfilled or has been made invalid by your takeover. he community and helpfulness of Vista Babble has been severally damaged since your takeover and the sites users were given no warning of this takeover (you could compare it to a hostile takeover in a business) and therefore leaving some to quit the site, stop posting or seldom visit the site such as myself. Now I use to be a very active user along with Procookie (now left due to the takeover). This has destroyed the sites sense of friendship and compassion. I feel you should help to restore this via being open and more accommodating to the sites users Vista Babble user never wanted to be part of a network and certainly didn’t want to be made into a business asset. also feel you have not been around to answer user’s questions and concerns as you stated you would. Also the changing of the site logo (which was requested by a few users) has been view by me and I’m sure others as hostile just because the site says we have 6,559 members don’t mean in reality that we do. Another thing I think needs more transparency is what you and/or your company is gaining from the site. Hell I think if the offer was put to us all we would all co-buy the site! I feel strongly on the sites takeover and await your comments.

I say buy the site with whomever you want Josh. I want to emphasize that you had quit posting with any seriousness, if at all, before Sanjay arrived. I think that your continued comments, as mentioned before, are harrassment. And, they are pointless. Your harrassment obviously has no support here. If you persist, then I will ban you--this time for good.

If I didn't read this post I would have had no idea different people owned or ran it.

Josh I know your young and have ideas you call your own. Members come and go and boards change regardless of who owns them.

Life changes all the time and as we get older we learn to change with the times or be left behind. No business is perfect and the few that get close are always looking for ways to improve whats already in place.

Good management will always look for ways to improve and sometimes it does not work and they go back or drop a line.. i.e. New Coke.

New owners or managers DO NOT need employees approval.

Be happy and understand there is many other things to put your time and energy into.

Ok tell me frankly who among all of us were aware for the previous owner..
I wont think a lot of hands would be raised there in this question..

They why make a issue of it.. GUYS don't try to sound political.. just concentrate on your interest and sharing of knowledge...

And Sanjay why don't you just stop this thread for moving any further... it is just blowing the air rather than making a help full environment altogether
