I'm thrilled to hear the shipping is going to be soon. Congrats to you too Felix. And I agree with probably being able to dispute the value, due to the packaging/download but I guess Microsoft is just covering their a**es.

I was wondering about that. The price for a download should be cheaper than buying the boxed product. I would love to have get the box, which I believe it's real cool. But in a way, it's free so I can't really complaint. Both products will go well with my goal of starting an online business within the next two months. I should be able to write off any taxes if I use the programs to run my business.

And I hope, Microsoft doesn't forget the Office Mac Versions, as they said in October 2006:
"Q. When will the next version of Office for Mac be available?

A. The next version of Office for Mac is under development, and we typically release a new version every two to three years. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, There was an issue with the W-9 form (tax form) and I was not told about it until this past Friday, so I had to resend it. Now I'll probably be one of the last users to receive it even though I was one of the first to send the form in.

I was being patient, but now that I hear everyone talking about their new Vista I'll say "Patient my !@#%, I want my !@$% Vista...now."

Just kidding, I can wait.

You guys are going to love Office 2007. I do. The interface is very attractive. As for functions, well, whatever? I usually use about 10% of the things available on the very capable programs on the market these days.
