| I thought that I too had an issue with the W9 and kept emailing Catalysis about it. They never returned an email but Vista and Office finally showed up in the same envelope. I wasn't sure if I was still getting Vista Ultimate from my other beta testing but Friday they sent me this email: Dear Windows Feedback Panelist, We would like to thank you for participating in the Windows Feedback Panel Vista beta. We did it! On January 30, 2007 Microsoft shipped the latest version of the Windows Operating System, Windows Vista T to our consumer customers. Once again we want to thank all of our Windows Feedback Panel participants for helping make this the best operating system in the world and the smoothest launch of any Microsoft product. If you have not visited the new Windows Vista web site, please take a moment to enjoy the show. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista. For participating members of the Windows Feedback Panel Beta, the launching of Windows Vista means that we are ready to ship out copies of Windows Vista to each participant. We are placing the order today and hope to have the product in the mail in the next week or so. The next email you will receive from us will say we have shipped the product to you and 30 days after that we will declare the Beta completed. On completion date, support for the Windows Feedback Panel beta will end. When the DVD package arrives you will have the opportunity to either upgrade your Release Candidate version to the Released Version of Windows Vista, or you can do a clean install and start out fresh. In an upcoming email and with the DVD package we send, you will find full instructions on the different ways you can back up your data and the different options you have for installing. We have had a number of users ask us about installing 64-bit version of Windows Vista and we are happy to announce that the package we mail includes one retail license that can be used for installing either the 32-bit version (most common) of Windows Vista or for those machines with 64-bit processors you can install the 64-bit version; the package contains both DVDs. Please keep in mind, that although the Windows Vista portion of the program has concluded the Windows Feedback Panel is ongoing and we would be thrilled to have you continue with the panel by installing the Windows Feedback Panel software. Installing the Windows Feedback Panel software, will not only make you eligible for monthly sweepstakes drawing, but also lets us know of your interest in participating in future beta opportunities. The Windows Feedback Panel software can be installed from https://wfp.microsoft.com/welcome.aspx?StudyID=153 after completing installation of Windows Vista. I hope you enjoyed participating in the beta testing of Windows Vista. Thanks again for all your feedback; you've helped make the best version of Windows yet. Sincerely, Jennifer S The Windows User Experience Team winpanel@microsoft.com https://wfp.microsoft.com This mail was sent to you at mojavekroc@xxx.xxx Any of you who want to do some beta testing in the future and will get rewarded with finalized versions of the software, sign up for Windows Feedback Panel like I did. It's really simple. All you do is install the WFP software on your PC and it reports any errors back to Microsoft for analysis. |

| The PowerTogether Vista Business is sent as one DVD that is 32 bit only, however you can request a 64 bit disk but I think you have to pay $10 for shipping. It is a full retail license although the disk has NOT FOR RESALE printed on it. This hasn't stopped people from selling them on Ebay. Oh yeah, no fancy packaging. Just a cardboard folder. The Office 2007 is just the cardboard folder with download info and a product key. It too is a full retail license. I think that the reason why they are sending both x86 and x64 disks with the WFP beta is that so many people complained about the lack of the x64 disk with PowerTogether. They didn't even let us beta test x64 either. |

| Thanks for the information. You mentioned that I might be able to order the 64-bit version for $10.00; do you know how to proceed with that. Will I order it now or wait until I receive the software? Thanks in advance.

| Go here to order 64 bit media. The product key will work with either. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvist...a/default.mspx Upon looking at the site, you have to enter your product key which means that you have to wait for your delivery. If you know anyone who has a 64 bit copy, you could use that.. |

| Thank you so much for the information. I'll take care of it as soon as I get the DVD. Concerning the 64-bit, my soon to be son-in-law works at Bestbuy as a "geek". He told me last night that Bestbuy is staying away from the 64-bit due to users complaining about drivers. But I still think that most issues are going to be corrected before the end of this year. I have 64-bit system and intend to use the 64-bit OS.

| I think most everyone is waiting for most everything "freeish." Many are all antsy about not receiving their Vista Express Upgrades yet; they definitely have a reason to be "suffering" while the "rest" of the world has fun. I don't have mine yet either, but, of course, I am not suffering.
