Take Vista for a Test Drive

You can take Vista Business Edition for a test drive without installing it on your PC. The OS is installed on a server hosted a Microsoft contractor. You can also test drive Office 2007 as well. Go to: http://www.windowsvistatestdrive.com/

Yes Jguy, it's cool and different too. It not just provide users with a taste of what Vista is all about, but it serves as a Vista learning tool as well. The only requirement to use the site is to enter an email address.

I am driving Office at home too. I really like the new Office. But, honestly, I just do the same things I always have done--sometimes with an ad-on though. I guess I just like the way the new interface looks. Since I never use more than about 10% of what sophisticated software does, I am a "looks" guy.

Most of has been using the Beta of Office 2007 and still have a chance to try Office with a 60-day trial. It’s the best way to try and take the software for a test. There have been many improvements and new tools as well. If users cannot or don’t want to download a trial version, these two links can provide them with first hand knowledge about the new features of Office 2007 and Vista as well.

FYI, for those of you using Firefox, the Vista biz test drive requires IE6.0

I know that's pretty much common knowledge with MS products, but I'm still a FF holdout. So one of my fav FF extensions is the one that "opens this page in IE"
