Microsoft have apparently fixed a date for the retail release of Windows Vista - November 15, 2006.

The date is expected to fall nicely in time for Christmas, though it is likely to be later than the next major release of Apple's OSX. Previous estimates were as vague of 'Qtr 4, 2006'.
