| There's no public beta as of yet. I think MS is chewing more than they can handle. Also, they are so afraid of the criticism that they want to wait until the product is perfect before releasing it to the public. |

| After all that news, that's a relief! (gigabites??) By the way I love the word "omerta" in that article's context. I never heard it before The Sopranos, but now that I know what it means it's so apt. |

| Windows Server 2008 RC, Vista SP1, Likely Next Week Friday, 21 September 2007 I am hesitant about posting any news about Vista SP1 nowadays, but Windows Connected is one of my favorite news sources. Many were expecting to see a Release Candidate build of Windows Server 2008 this week, but according to the latest news we can expect to see it next week. This will be the first release of Windows Server 2008 to have Microsoft Hypervisor, codenamed Viridian, included. A technology that everyone should familiarize themselves with. It will become very important as more and more business try to consolidate hardware and save energy in data centers. We are also anxiously awaiting the first beta of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 which is supposed to ship its around the same time. Both of these products are due to RTM by early 2008. http://windowsconnected.com/blogs/jo...next-week.aspx
