Verizon boosts FiOS speeds to 50 Mbps down, 20 Mbps up
Wednesday, November 21, 2007, 7:16:12 PM
BitTorrent users rejoice: Just a month after offering a symmetrical 20 Mbps option for its FiOS Internet service, Verizon has boosted its maximum download speeds to 50 Mbps.

crap this is so fast I'd have to buy a new computer to handle this...
the very best speed I have seen is 1081 kbps... so to try and figure 50 Mbps I'm sure my LCD would boil over...and pages would appear faster than i could click a mouse. WOW this is scarey. and if uploads were faster than 500 kbps how would I know they really were uploaded... it would be so fast my LCD screen would blink.

What do you think is this too fast or what?

I do not have to worry, I just checked and for $19.95 a month It is not in my local, so Whee, I do not have to worry about this Fassssssssssssssssst cheap service.
