Just a tiny bit of news, If you have the Windows Live Messenger 8.5 BETA you will see there is an update available via Windows Update. What does this update do you might be thinking?? Well the answer is nothing....that's right diddle squit . The update was to test if updates work with Messenger. Yeah that's right an update for an update

So it suggests that they will be rolling Windows Live product updates via Windows Update. i guess this makes it a lot easer than downloading it an installing yourself so overall not a bad idea.
