| In the meantime, if you wish to become a beta program member, you can do so by registering for the world-wide Windows Vista Beta Experience: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=66411. Consider carefully, the topic... many times you have to FORMAT to recover when beta testing... It is not for the limited knowledge user. . Many times the BETA can not be installed over, so you have to FORMAT to start again... If you have had a (major) problem simply installing a device or program using Vista or Win XP and simply said to your self..(Grrrr, why did I do that or this OS is stupid or WTF is wrong with this CRAP ) .or ask questions like this Quote:
Honestly, if you think you can follow the link above and "CAREFULLY READ THE CONTRACT."

Snuffy -- I enjoy reading your posts ( of which I probably understand 20 percent - tops) but when you say "limited user" I had to laugh --- this ole boy is so "limited" I would not attempt to "beta test" a mouse.

No Problem, on "No to the Mouse Beta Test..."enjoy the chuckle, and by saying your limited - means your not that limited. I'm quite sure you would know "how to install SP1" ... the quote is a REAL quote, I did not make it up. PS: I will not add the replys to that question. some were step-by-step and quite detailed... Thanks for the "You enjoy my posts".

| I always say, just be careful. However, everyone makes mistakes, and some can be huge; I know I have make some big mistakes along the way. But at the same time, it's fun, plus it's a learning experience as well. I do like testing beta software, I just don't do it where my important documents are maintained. |

| I saw that you're a beta tester and thought "cool!" One day I want to have the experience and knowledge to try that. I have a devouring curiousity about both computer hardware and, of course software. All I have is theory really so far, I'm an avid reader of computer tomes, and have taken a few courses, but it's great to see a link like that for possible future perusal. Oh yeah love the mouse, talk about literal! Got quite a chuckle out of that! Last edited by Vistanoob : 09-03-2007 at 10:38 PM. |
