I know by default Vista disables certain features (Aero, Window Color, Transparencies, etc), but is there a way to bypass these settings? Im thinking some sort of Registry key maybe?

Edit: Just to clarify. These things are disabled, so the PC will run faster.

Usually, all the visual effects that Vista will do are turned on upon installation. But, to disable all sorts of things go Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Settings--and adjust things as you want.
