Hi, I'm new and just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I found this forum while searching for some help with Vista, and since I found an answer here, I would like to contribute back to the forums as much as I can.

I've been into computers since I was about 6 or 7 years old, now I'm 18 years old and just as interested. I've been building computers since I was about 10. I'm into Adobe Photoshop and Pemiere, I usually edit movies for my friends.

I'm a pretty big gamer also, I play Battlefield 2, The Ship and Counter-Strike. (if anyone wants to play sometime, just PM me)

Anyways, thats about all I can think of to say. So I guess I'll be seeing you guys around the forums.

Glad to see you're interested in alot of stuff! Tried any games on Vista yet? Some people have had issues Also do you know how to open avi/flac/mkv in adobe premiere? My bro got it for creating AMVs but cant get any of the vids to load into it!

games work fine in vista, i play BF2 in vista quite often, and it runs just as well as it did in win XP

i usually work with mpegs and AVI files in premiere, i dont know about the other ones

what version of Premiere is he using? he might need a newer version or some kind of plugin that allows him to use those file types
