Hello, all. I am new to Vista since last summer when we had to purchase a new computer system after a major crash of our e-machines (it had Windows XP). We've had no real trouble with Vista on the HP Pavilion that we purchased.

I also recently purchased a Gateway which of course came with Vista. Because I am working on some on-line sewing classes and set them up n Powerpoint, I also purchased the Office Standard upgrade to get the version of Powerpoint 2007 that I needed.

I joined this forum to hopefully get some answers to some weird issues which are now occuring with my laptop, which I won't enumerate here - I guess those questions go elsewhere on the forum.

Thanks for letting me join, here's hoping to iron out all the problems so I can enjoy my computer!
