New To Forum and Vista

I discovered this forum by accident, I sit in front of my computer for at least a couple of hours a day since retiring after 38 years on the job. I have a desktop with XP and a laptop with Vista that I don't use very much because it is infected with PCTattletale and I haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of it. I used XoftSpySE to identify the infection but can't use it to delete it because of its incompatibility with Vista. I hope to solve this and other problems via this forum.

Thanks.

Tom

Not sure if pctattletale is spyware or a virus, but there are numerous vista-compatible anti-malware things out there. Avast, AVG, Windows Defender, etc. No doubt someone here can solve your problem lickety-split. Post about it in a relevant forum, and let us know if its a virus or spyware.

Welcome Tom. We are glad you are here. There are several of us "oldsters" here. We had computers before most of the rest were born. Actually, we had pretty much everything but iPods before the rest were born.
