Caitlin!

With the exception of Creative and Nvidia's so-so drivers I don't have any probs with my Ultimate. In fact I am getting kind of bored because things are working too good

Do have to say it works quite well although it took bit getting used to. Think XP is more user friendly. The one feature that I found very frustrating was / is the tabs feature. Hated that even though made myself get used to it. Still have the feature on the PC but have it turned off on laptop. As a database I have to say it runs well enough.

What do you all think of MS Office - new version - now that is something else altogether

Office 2007 is still in BETA test... has more problems than you can speak of.
also it will not upgrade for Office 2003 it will upgrade from Office XP.

Vista in Beta test is a little better than off than Office...

I say Beta Test due to "so many BETA Test problems that were not corrected, and still presist, and cause problems. Many of the problems were known about 2 yrs ago... some longer... some are hold over from XP Beta days... Yes, many many corrections given for Vista are from XP.

I find it a lot more easier with the tabs all organzied, such as Home, to find what you are looking for and I like the way you can add effects to your pictures to make them look more professional.

I think this is the best office so far in my opinion.

EMail and Office 2007 SUK

Office 2007 is sort of OK, but currently it has too many bugs...
just one that is SCREWED up and really hurts...open any .xml and email it, by importing your contacts...
That is just one of the REALLY BAD Screwups... figure your a company and you want to sent some list of new prices for the products you sell at ??? Burger King or Pizza Hut or even the price of new tires..
