I produce iCal (".ics") files on a website; these files are successfully imported by many Calendar applications (Google, Outlook, Notes, Sunbird, Apple iCal) , and the time zones recognised. If imported into Windows Calendar, they show correctly, except that time-zone is shown as "floating". Is this a bug, or what do I have to do to make it work? Here is example file: http://lef.csc.com/events/listings/s...20061015ST.ics The time-zone fragment used is: BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:/softwarestudio.org/Olson_20011030_5/America/San_Francisco X-LIC-LOCATION:America/Los_Angeles BEGIN:STANDARD TZOFFSETFROM:-0700 TZOFFSETTO:-0800 TZNAME:PST DTSTART:19701025T020000 RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=10;BYDAY=-1SU END:STANDARD BEGIN TZOFFSETFROM:-0800 TZOFFSETTO:-0700 TZNAME:PDT DTSTART:19700405T020000 RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=4;BYDAY=1SU END END:VTIMEZONE John |
