| It has big issues. *It wont compress *It fails to identify D9 Duel layer DVDs *It try's to format NON re writable DVDs that renders them useless. - There are absolutely no settings to its configuration and how it behaves *Backing up to Removable Media is basically null and void *The directory layout it places your backups in is rediculous

| Grab a nice USB external HD, or simply add one (internal) and make it your backup... It is super. and works (IMHO) really fast.

True Image web site indicates "backup and restore your entire operating system" - I however have been burned by other Software which made this claim. Have you, or do you know of someone who has backed up and restored their Windows Vista (typically this would be done to a larger disk given the quick change in drive size taking place)? Also do you know if it supports the 9.2Gbyte DVDs? |

| One of the issues with backup software is that one will not know that it'll work until it's time to recover from a disaster, and then it might be too late. My suggestion is do a backup and then try to see if it really works. I did that with Vista when I had the Home Premium 32-bit version installed on my desktop and it worked. So even if Vista is not the best backup software out there, it does work, at least in my case. |
