I am not sure about the "not meant to ..." part, but I did not get a warning that MMJB would not work when upgrading to, for example, 5728 and perhaps also to 5600. So, ...????? As you probably recall, MMJB did not work in some earlier versions no matter how many many reinstalls I did.

But, OK, I might try the upgrade, but don't have time now. What will it do for me beyond 5728--except make more "work" for me potentially--i.e. give me a reason to try it other than upgrading "fun" and 5744 the latest and greatest. Really, what did it do for you other than provide fun and the latest/greatest?

I honestly felt it did nothing and made alot of stuff worse... but then again, I haven't used it for that long and most of the problems seem to iron themselves out... I will install MMJB and see if it works, what am I looking for it to do?

Hey thanks. It should play MP3's. But, most importantly, it needs to get to its music store and "on demand" service using Firefox. I will be gone for most of the rest of the day, but may pop in occasionally and definitely will check in much later for a while.

In recess... I confirm the complete compliance of MMJB working with vista appart from the fact that it tells me every 5 seconds that it is incompatible!

I shall now return to the crabette! Until the morrow!!

I am running out of space on my HD - 30Gb - on which I installed Win Vista RC1. I had thoughts of moving the partition from the current HD to a larger spare HD (40Gb). In order to do this, I backed up the whole disk onto DVDs with Windows Complete PC Restore and intended to restore the image onto a larger HD. However, I was stopped from doing this by the inflexibilty of the PC restore software as it appears that it will only restore to the original HD.

I then thought of using Gparted from a linux Boot DVD and found that I was unable to move the partitions, despite information on the internet that you should be able to do so. The other trouble is that a lot of the Partition Software will not run under Win Vista. Any solutions?

I am a little surprised at your result. I have used Complete PC restore to completely set up new drives. I am moving to Acronis TrueImage (?) 10 to get more flexibiity in backup and restore features, but, honestly, I don't know what all it will let me do. I hate Norton Ghost. So, I say don't go there.
