Latest Security Regime

Hi Friends:

I have adopted something of a new security regime. It seems to cover the bases very well with only one purchased program--Ad-Adware SE Plus. Maybe one could get by with a free alternative to SE Plus, but real-time monitoring is hard to come by for free AFAIK. Anyway, here is what I am using:

1. avast! home (free);
2. No Script add-on with Firefox;
3. Ad-Aware SE Plus (which includes Ad-Watch real-time monitoring; and
4. The firewall component of OneCare beta.

As indicated, I turned off everything about OneCare except its firewall. The strong point of the firewall is that it appears to do a good job of dealing with out going internet access attempts. It is no loss to turn the other features off given that I have software that does everything those features do--and probably better.

If only IE7 had no-script... it's still not secure enough for my liking.
