The mega-thread, as Crabby named it, is too crowded, so I'll post new tips here instead if that's alright with you all. I received this tip from Microsoft newsletter titled Exploring Windows Remember a folder view You've found the perfect folder view. Now apply that view to all your folders using the following steps: 1. In Windows Explorer, open the folder with the view that you want to apply and click the Tools menu, then Folder Options. 2. Click the View tab and then click the Apply to All Folders button. Click OK. 3. You'll be asked to confirm your request. Click Yes, then click OK. Now all the folders on your PC have the same view. I added this to the tip: To get the Tools menu, press the Alt key on your keyboard. To change the folder’s view, use the down arrow next to Views and use the slider to make changes. Happy computing!

Anthony, concerning the folders view tip, it will not change the size and appearance attributes of your folders...you do that by using the slider. However, it will save and apply any changes you make to all folders. Here's a quick IE7 tip: If you miss the standard toolbar on Internet Explorer 7 (classic view), simply right-click anywhere on the toolbar and click the Menu Bar.

| You can make IE7 toolbar less or more crowded by deleting or adding commands. Here’s how: Right-click the toolbar, select Customize Command and go to Add or Remove Commands option. Now just add or remove any option(s) you want.

| I agree. I don't think I want to place any more tips in that thread anymore beacuse it is so huge. So I can follow your suggestion and include all those tips in the PDF file. If anyone agrees with Josh, let us know. It won't be done overnight, but it'll get done.
