I tested mine in both Vista final edition and SP1 and there's no difference, but it work perfectly well on both. I have mine installed, 8GB, inside my computer on a USB 2.0 PCI card. The card has six external and two internal USB ports. I do recommend this setup because the USB drive is out of site inside the PC. Like I mentioned on a previous post, you may not see a super speed increase using Readyboost, but it's faster than the read access from the HD.
