Talking Windows Live One Care!

Hi everyone, about a monthe ago i downloaded Windows Live One Care for a 3 month trial, thinking they should know what they are doing and i should be safe from viruses etc. Then two days ago my computer stated to act strangly, like restarting on its own and internet explorer closing down on its own, and I suspected a virus. One care had not got envolved so i ran the virus scanner which reported nothing. I became suspicious so removed one care and installed an old favorite Avast! This quickley spotted and removed the offender and alls well that ends well, so beware of windows live one care, in my case it failed and fell below the standard required. One further note regarding Vista, it seems to improve the more you use it and, and i for one am enjoying the experience!

That is interesting Wolfie. You have first-hand experience of the problems I've read about with One Care. I too tried it as a freebie trial, but found it way too intrusive for my tastes. Glad it ended up well for you though.
