If you ask me you should scarp Dell all together for the following reasons:

Delivery charges
(you can pick one up in store in PC world)

VAT charges
(dell all ways give you a good price until the very last moment when you enter debit details and then u get VAT'ed to hell.)

Customer Service
(Known as being one of the worst in the industry, so if it breaks and you cant fix it, your pretty much screwed)

Poor Quality in General
(to be fair i have never had a Dell laptop but we use them in work we have had them just over 3 months and there falling to pieces for no apparent reason, buttons are falling off and they over heat all the time)

But maybe he will listen to your advise... and forget DELL.
I tried on his first post... but it did not work.
I have friends, & relation whom work for DELL, and they can not recommend the products ... to FRIENDS OR RELATION..

I have just been ask to and have spend several hours on NEW DELL systems locally here, that (IMHO) are sub par 1 a NEW VISTA unit with 512 Mb Memory and the other a NEW XP SP2 unit with 256 Mb Memory. Far short of any thing I would recommend..

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 is an integrated (onboard) graphic chip on a Mobile Intel 965GM chipset (for Merom = Core 2 architecture). It is the successor of GMA 950. Most interesting is the integration of a fully programmable pipeline. Due to the integration of DirectX9 features, HDR and Hardware Transform & Lighning (T&L) - predecessor only had Software T&L - should be ready for Windows Vista Premium (support Aero Glass fully). Respective the data, the peformance should be clearly better than GMA 950.

Will it run full AERO well?

It beats the AOL search engine 100 to 1. and it beats MS search engine 100 to 2.

It is called GOOGLE... I highly recommend you go to google.com and down it, and install the addon which allows you to make it yoour DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE>
